Creation Tops Pinot Line-Up

Winemag.co.za in conjunction with Tonnellerie Saint Martin recently released the first annual Pinot Noir Report. There were 52 entries from 33 producers and Creation is proud to have scored 93 points for its 2015 Reserve Pinot Noir. 10 Atkin Medals of Excellence for Creation

Creation Wines continues to reap the fruits of its endeavours as is clearly illustrated by Tim Atkin’s recently published 2017 South Africa Special Report. Tim, a British Master of Wine, a distinguished wine journalist and widely regarded as an expert on South African wines, has awarded no less than ten Creation wines 90 points and more.

The Tim Atkin report is now in its fifth edition and commenting on the wines he tasted, Tim recently said: “The South African wine scene has never been more exciting or more diverse  . . . I sincerely hope that the reviews and scores in my forthcoming report, as well as the Medals of Excellence given to producers whose wines have scored more than 90 points, will ensure that more people are aware of the seismic changes in the Cape winelands.”

According to Creation Wines co-owner and marketing director, Carolyn Martin, the estate is justly proud of the ten Medals of Excellence achieved and also to be part of the ‘seismic changes’ referred to by Tim. “As an esteemed wine expert, we value his opinion and are thrilled with the scores!”

Pink October at Creation

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Creation team will once again participate with a special Pink October event held on Saturday 28 October. Professor Justus Apffelstaedt from the Multidisciplinary Breast Health Centre will be the guest speaker and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Tygerberg Hospital Breast Clinic Fund.
