With May comes shorter days, a chill in the evening air and at Creation a hearty fire crackling in the hearth. What could be a more perfect accompaniment to the ochre and burnt sienna of a vineyard approaching dormancy after a challenging harvest than a glass of the Creation Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot blend? Especially when paired with flavourful rare roast Springbok loin? Click here to book online.
A rich wine in the finest tradition of Bordeaux, Creation’s award-winning example is one of only two Bordeaux-style blends grown and made in the Hemel-en-Aarde. Dense, blue-black in the glass with hues of violet, it exhibits generous aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant fruit against a background of smoky oak. These follow through onto the palate where well-integrated tannins promise excellent maturation potential.
Join Creation Wines this May as we celebrate the heritage of our glorious Bordeaux-Style Blend and invite guest chefs to pair it with their favourite recipes!
At Creation we’re pleased to announce that we have been one of only eight wineries in South Africa to
receive the coveted EnviroWines accreditation. The accreditation is based on the scientific evaluation of
all management practices and not merely a documentation audit and requires a distinction in the IPW audit
for both the farm and winery as well as any third party audits. To view the extensive criteria on which the
very strict audit is based, click here.
