One of the current wine trends, both locally and internationally, is the re-emergence of dry Rosé as a popular style. Creation’s Whale Pod Spyhopping Rosé is a shining example.

The popularity of Rosé can be attributed to a number of aspects. The fact that it is served chilled makes it fantastically refreshing while the flavour profile, especially in dry Rosés, tends to offer savoury nuances to balance the fruity and florally notes, making it one of the most versatile styles of wine for pairing. Add to this the vibrancy and range of tints and you have the ideal partner for a leisurely lunch this summer!

Inspired by the many pairing possibilities, the Creation team has come up with a three course summer lunch to tempt you. Simply click on the links below to view the recipes. The third Pinot Noir Celebration will take place at the spectacular Bona Dea Private Estate in Hemel-en-Aarde Valley on the Friday at 11h30 followed by a Pinot Noir gala dinner.
