. . . just like their World Cup winning rugby team, South Africa is firing on all cylinders. You just need to be selective and know where to look . . . As someone privileged with more than his fair share of rare and expensive Grand Cru Burgundy and First Growths, I can unhesitatingly state that the best of South Africa punches at the same weight . . . Trust me when I say that in a decade’s time, you might well rue not grabbing some of these exceptional wines. – Neal Martin MW
Yes, Neal Martin’s eagerly awaited 2019 South Africa Wine Report is out and Creation is thrilled to have no less than eight wines scoring 90 points or more in what is regarded as one of the most authoritative guidesto SA wines.

Creation in the news
A couple of months ago, I received the sweetest telling off of a long career. Just a day after I'd described Creation wine estate outside Hermanus as "little known" in a story, I received a chiding message from co-owner Carolyn Martin: "It's not so much that we're little known," she said, "as that Creation is a well-kept secret." The distinction was subtle but important, she said.
Creation is delighted to have its co-owner and cellarmaster Jean-Claude (JC) Martin shortlisted as one of the finalists for the 2019 Diners Club Winemaker Awards.
Situated some 18 km from the coastal resort of Hermanus, Creation is more than a wine farm; it is a glorious destination where a warm welcome awaits young and old. Click here to make a reservation.
