At Creation every dawn brings an exciting new challenge and innovation is a way of life. This trendsetting spirit has shaped our vision and led to many of our achievements.

But how to capture the elusive concept of innovation visually and in a creative way? Well, as with so many of our initiatives, we were inspired by one of our valued clients – this time our long-time friend and award-winning journalist, Les Aupiais. The idea was triggered during a conversation with Les in the Creation fynbos garden one winter’s day. It began as a bit of a mad idea about capturing a natural Creation musical score that would spark the imagination around our brand. But then to make that work visually, you had to have three essential elements: a bold client (that’s us!), fabulous raw material and a lensman who knows his stuff!

The many exciting ideas culminated in ‘Impressions of Creation in Winter’. This visual work of art is aimed at conveying to you the many joys of a winter-time Creation and I hope you love the video as much as we love creating beautiful wines and dishes for you. Simply click here.

Behind the camera was the very talented videographer, Chris Aupiais, who commented:

“What a great opportunity to work with subject matter so rich in texture and colour and to be able to focus on bringing a cinematographic feel to the visual narrative. I really liked capturing the energy and passion of the chefs and off-setting this with the delicacy and calm of the final plating and presentation in the Creation Tasting Room.”
