The inventive Creation Culinary Team has done it again: creating a menu to delight – and surprise – the senses. Titled ‘Return to Nature’, our wholesome and meticulously balanced menu comprises six courses, each paired with an award-winning Creation wine. Who would have thought healthy could be so tasty?
Our new menu is inspired by Ayurveda. In Sanskrit ayur means ‘life’ and veda means ‘knowledge’. Therefore, Ayurveda means ‘The Knowledge of Life’. Our health relies on our harmony and balance with the elements and nature by its very essence heals us.
Showcasing the fresh produce from our neighbours in the Overberg, the menu is specially designed for winter. What’s more, the courses are thoughtfully served in a sequence that optimises your blood sugar levels. We like to refer to this as an ‘Intelligent, Informed and Inspired Creation Experience’. The experience is enhanced by elements from the terroir to symbolise returning to nature: for instance a vine stalk, a porcupine quill, a quartz stone. To read more, please click here.
Creation in the news
At Creation we’re honoured to collaborate with the celebrated and inspirational artist, Kathy Robins, on this solo exhibition. Especially since we share a mutual respect and concern for, and interaction with our natural environment. Kathy’s practice, which bridges the fields of fine art and sustainable social development, resonates with the emphasis we place on sustainability within our context. RE-TURN offers the opportunity to consider, listen to, absorb, and think about just that: sustainability and perceptions of nature and community. Click to read more. Please join us on the Fynarts opening day for a glass of our Elation MCC, a stroll through the Tasting Room and the opportunity of meeting the artist, Kathy Robins. Date: 10 June 2022 Time: 10h00 - 12h00 Venue: Creation Tasting Room
