It all started 20 years ago when the golden opportunity of a piece of land for sale on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge presented itself. The farm had never been planted to vines before but Jean-Claude and I rose to the challenge and the rest is history.

As always, we’re looking forward to the months ahead. Welcoming new and old friends and colleagues here at Creation is always rewarding. And so is travelling to meet up with those of you we haven’t seen for a while. A great excitement is our new Healthy Heritage Menu to be launched in September, and then of course there’s the prospect of Cape Wine in October!

Transformation is what drives us. We are excited about co-creation and what this means for you, our guests, our team, our community, and the environment. As a team we actively engage with, and listen to all our stakeholders. This continuous cycle of communication never fails to spark new ideas and trigger innovation. So many opportunities have arisen from this. Here is but one idea:

A wine visa, just like a tech visa, would open up a world of opportunities for wine professionals to travel, experience different cultures and exchange skills.  I have no doubt that you, our client, would benefit from such a collaborative initiative which among others will enable our wine ambassadors to stay abreast of the latest trends in the global wine market.

One of the things we pride ourselves on is the intergenerational nature of our business. We are keen to make the whole family feel welcome at Creation – all creatures, great and small! Bridging the gap between young and old is a beautiful way to live constructively and purposefully, making sure we pass on knowledge from one generation to the next. Possibly a way to rescue the world!

It is our steadfast policy to consider you, our valued client, in everything we do. A shining example is our wholesome Return to Nature Menu which has been developed to cater for the whole family and all dietary requirements.
