Are we able to reimagine a world where clean air, water and food are available to all? Where economies are focused on health and wellbeing? Where cities are liveable and people have control over their health and the health of the planet? These questions posed on the World Health Organization (WHO) webpage probably find resonance with most of us.
The 7th of April is World Health Day. And here at Creation we applaud WHO’s endeavours to focus global attention on the urgent actions needed to keep humans and the planet healthy and to create societies focused on wellbeing. https://www.who.int/campaigns/world-health-day/2022
As No 10 on the 2021 World’s Best Vineyards list and No 1 in Africa, we at Creation believe that we too, can and should play a role. Healthy eating options matter to our valued guests and we want the Creation experience to be a feel-good one. In creating our pairing menus, our team works with a doctor who specialises in nutrition and general wellbeing. ‘What grows together, goes together’ is our motto and by combining our cool-climate wines with the freshest produce sourced from our local farmers and fishermen, we’ve created a wholesome recipe for that ultimate experience.
Health is one of our focus areas, not just for our guests but also for our team. Our workplace is characterised by conviviality, fun, camaraderie and close cooperation. Our culture is youthful and vibrant, providing the positive energy and spirit of innovation we so value.
This culture of care extends to our community where we are privileged to be closely involved in the Pebbles Hemel-en-Aarde Education Project. It also embraces our natural environment: we enjoy the distinction of being WWF Conservation Champions for our longstanding commitment to sustainable development.
