A ‘new find’ for a new fan
‘Until earlier this month, this winery had not featured on my radar. Now I suspect it will have permanent shelf-space in my cellar.’
So writes David Parkinson of dappled.info after his recent visit to Creation Wines.
Formerly CEO of WineGB, the trade organisation for all UK wineries, David now serves as Chairman of the Wine Committee at Brooks’s in St James’s St, London, one of the oldest and most exclusive clubs in the world. His blog/website is currently in beta format, going live in March, and is all about ‘signposting exceptional wines, hotels, restaurants and anything else that merits attention’. After tasting through our range at the Tasting Room, David had four wines shipped to his home in Hampshire, namely, Creation Roussanne Grenache Blanc 2022 (‘could replicate some of the excellent rich whites being produced in the Northern Rhône…exceptional value’), Creation The Art of Chardonnay (‘best Chardonnay I tasted…unquestionably’), Creation Reserve Pinot Noir 2022 (‘you simply will not find anything in Europe nor North America that delivers better value for money’) and Creation The Art of Pinot Noir 2022 (‘simply outstanding’).
‘Not only do they create wines,’ David writes here, providing full tasting notes, ‘but the food in their winery is most definitely worth a visit.’
