At Creation, we celebrate our cultural diversity and the innovation this brings to our team and our guests. We see the combined cultural wealth of our team as an essential part of our prosperity.

A can-do attitude is of course, essential to innovation. And so is quality input and training. The chance to collaborate with leading businesses and establishments inspires and benchmarks our perception of excellence. A few recent examples are exchange programmes with establishments such as Fyn, Pier, The Waterside, Ellerman House, Grootbos Private Nature Reserve and The Marine Hotel, allowing our chefs and Front of House the opportunity of gaining valuable work experience. This enriches our team and, consequently, the transformational experiences of our clients.

Vineyards are a significant investment in quality wines. We plant to grow old. In this respect, I would like to express my appreciation for the expertise and commitment of the members of our vineyard team. Some of them have been caring for the vineyards from fledgling vines to maturity and this hands-on approach has been a golden thread running through our estate.

Creation is situated in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom, in one of the most biodiverse wine regions in the world. We love to showcase our pristine environment and its supreme produce and are grateful for the support of our greater community and the visitors who travel from far and wide to our region. Each visitor to our area creates eleven jobs a day. Wine tourism, therefore, has a significant impact on our local economy.  How wonderful to think that while you’re enjoying the many rewards of travel, you are also benefiting the community!

Still on the subject of travel, innovation of course, also stems from widening one’s own horizons. JC, Daniela and I are excited about the shared experiences we recently enjoyed in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The dedication of all the organisers, the chefs, sommeliers, agents, partners as well as our clients in those countries is greatly appreciated!
