From Wine Paris with Love
From Wine Paris, with love
I feel quite exhilarated after attending Wine Paris 2025, held from 10 to 12 February at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. These were some of the highlights for me:
Connecting with Global Partners
The event was a vibrant convergence of wine professionals from over 50 countries, providing an invaluable platform to strengthen existing relationships and forge new ones. Engaging with international partners allowed for enriching exchanges of ideas and insights, reinforcing our shared passion for excellence in the wine industry.
Rethinking Education with Areni Global
On 11 February, I attended Areni Global’s seminar entitled Rethinking Education: Shaping the Future of the Wine Trade. This insightful session delved into the evolving landscape of professional wine education, emphasising the need for curricula that bridge the gap between traditional knowledge and the dynamic skills required in today’s market. The discussion underscored the importance of adapting our educational approaches to enhance profitability and sustainability in the wine trade.
Areni Global’s comprehensive white paper is now available at the link provided above for those interested in exploring these forward-thinking perspectives.

Panel Discussion: Rush for Africa, Why Now?
Another highlight of the event was participating in the panel discussion ‘Rush for Africa, Why Now?’
This engaging dialogue explored the burgeoning opportunities within the African wine market, examining factors contributing to its current momentum and future potential. The conversation provided deep insights into the unique dynamics of the African wine industry and its increasing significance on the global stage.
A heartfelt merci to Chinedu Rita Rosa from Vines by Rosa for the invitation to join the panel discussion, exploring the exciting opportunities and immense potential of the African wine market.
Reflecting on these experiences, I am invigorated by the innovative ideas and collaborative spirit that define our industry. The discussions at Wine Paris 2025 have reinforced Creation’s commitment to embracing change, fostering education, and exploring new horizons in the world of fine wine.
