A Journey Through the Cape Floral Kingdom at Creation Wines

Dear {{contact.first_name}}

Spring has arrived in Hemel-en-Aarde, and with it comes the most extraordinary celebration our vineyards have ever witnessed. As the ancient Cape Floral Kingdom stirs around us, we invite you to experience something truly magical: a limited-season pairing menu where the ‘CULTURE’ in Agri-CULTURE comes alive through indigenous blooms, foraged treasures, and the timeless art of viticulture and winemaking. We’re calling it our ‘Power of Flowers’ celebration.

‘Power of Flowers’ is our most ambitious culinary project to date, transforming the Cape Floral Kingdom – a UNESCO World Heritage site – into an extraordinary dining experience.

‘We’re not just serving a meal, we’re orchestrating a symphony of seasonal awakening, where ancient Ayurvedic wisdom meets modern culinary artistry,’ says Creative Director Carolyn Martin. ‘Every element is designed to harmonise guests’ senses with the natural rhythms of spring, from the endemic waterblommetjies that grow in our dam to the viola flowers that represent the essence of Pinot noir.’

Whether you follow our traditional menu or choose our entirely plant-based journey, every dish celebrates the same principles: seasonality, sustainability, and the profound connection between soil, plant, and ultimately you, as you enjoy nature’s bounty.

So writes Clifford Roberts in a piece inspired by his recent visit to Creation in Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge.

‘This is one of those tucked-away corners so rare – but renowned – for outstanding Pinot noir,’ he writes.
