Geir Salvesen Masterclass on Sugar and Wine

What a pleasure to have welcomed our inspiring friends from Norway again. Geir Salvesen and Gunnhild Bjornsti treated us to a short masterclass on the effects of sugar on wine. The marshmallow test was the most amusing as we saw the team enjoy the wine, taste the marshmallow and … eek … shrivelled faces! We experienced that sugar and wine are not friends unless you have a fortified or dessert wine. Even then the wine has to be sweeter than the dessert otherwise it will taste bitter.
