A north-south collaboration meeting in the middle of the world and the one thing we are blessed with is the beauty of Nature in each place!

We are currently working from the Seychelles, on the island of Praslin, and on Monday , October 7, we had the pleasure of presenting our wines at Constance Lemuria’s DIVA restaurant with the expert team of sommeliers and chefs.

Ørjan Johannessen from Norway designed the menu and pairing, and it was outstanding. Just fantastic to see the exceptional experiences that Constance delivers to its guests from a beautiful tiny island. Worth a visit. We also presented a master class to the team of sommeliers who are mainly locals but also internationals, getting a great education through the range of extraordinary wines in their cellars, from visiting winemakers, and by travelling to wine destinations. The service could not be more welcoming and friendly, and just as a delightful as the vistas and perfect temperature of the cool blue ocean.

A north-south collaboration meeting in the middle of the world and the one thing we are blessed with is the beauty of Nature in each place!

We recently spent a few days working from the Seychelles, kicking off on the island of Praslin, where we had the pleasure of presenting our wines at Constance Lemuria’s DIVA restaurant with the expert team of sommeliers and chefs.

The service could not be more welcoming and friendly, and just as a delightful as the vistas and perfect temperature of the cool blue ocean.

We then flew to Mahé, the largest island of Seychelles. It is always exciting to island-hop in small planes with expert pilots so that you can see every detail of the landscape and the ocean. The views are just spectacular!

Training the sommelier team at Constance Ephilia was a pleasure, with many questions being asked and the group including many sommeliers who were present at ASI finals. The resort has five exceptional restaurants, and the sushi restaurant was of course very impressive, thanks to the locally caught fresh fish available.

I also had a chance to do ‘Hot’ yoga, by default of the humidity, and take a couple of dips in the ocean. If I want to relax, which does not come easy to me, then this is the way…for the best working holiday ever!
